llms.txt generator

Docent

Fill in the form and get a valid llms.txt file. It tells AI models what your site is, what matters on it, and where to look, so they describe you the way you would describe yourself.

The basics
Becomes the H1. This is the only part the spec actually requires.
Becomes the blockquote. Say what you do, who it is for, and where. Keep it to one sentence a model can quote.
Optional paragraphs. Facts a model should carry into any answer about you. Headings are not allowed here, and the checker below will flag them.

      Where it goes. Save the file as llms.txt and put it at the root of your domain, so it sits at yoursite.com/llms.txt. A subpath works too if you only want it to cover one part of the site.
      


      What it is and is not. This follows the llms.txt convention proposed by Jeremy Howard at Answer.AI in September 2024. It is a convention rather than a ratified web standard, and support varies between AI systems. Publishing one does not force any model to read or follow it.
